Yesterday we had the pleasure of attending the TextilWirtschaft Supply Chain Summit 2024 in Hamburg. The event provided us with an excellent platform to discuss the current challenges and opportunities in the textile and fashion industry. Here are my four most important insights for intralogistics:
Â
1. AI & robotics in the warehouse: artificial intelligence and robotics offer significant added value not only in core processes, but also in control and maintenance tasks 🤖.
2. robotics in order picking: mobile robotics efficiently complements existing infrastructures without the need for a complete system overhaul.
3. full automation vs. complexity: full automation has its limits, particularly due to requirements for value-added services, sustainability and packaging
4. a genuine pay-per-pick model is desired by many, but is not (yet 😉) available on the market
Â
NEOintralogistics offers exactly the solution that companies need to efficiently automate their warehouse infrastructure. Our technology seamlessly integrates mobile robotics and intelligent software into existing processes - without the need for costly replacements. This allows companies to benefit from automation while retaining the necessary flexibility for complex warehouse requirements.
